Workshops

Abbazero and Swan have over 20 years' experience developing and  faciliatating dynamic interactive workshops to raise awareness about social issues and help build bridges across difference. They incorporate tools such as mindfulness meditation and expressive arts, including Theatre of the Oppressed and other creative modalities to inspire all participants to engage deeply for sustainable transformation.

 

Workshop topics include:

  • dismantling white supremacy and patriarchy

  • healing internalized oppression and white cultural conditioning

  • decolonizing the mind and body

  • creating healthy communities and workplaces

  • uncovering implicit bias

  • bystander intervention training

  • parenting in interracial families

  • cross-cultural communication

  • intergenerational and ancestral healing

  • and exploring all aspects of spiritual, psychological, emotional and societal liberation.

 

 

 

 

 

Consulting

Abbazero and Swan assist individuals and organizations to be more effective in all levels of their functioning through in-person and video/telephone based consulting services with an international clientele.

Presentations

Presentations on racial justice and effective alliance-building across difference are offered for colleges, organizations, and institutions with a commitment to social change. A lectures is followed by a Q&A session, with optional facilitated caucus group meetings. (Caucus groups require additional facilitators to match the identity of the each group.)

 

Coaching

Swan also has a coaching practice to help individuals to identify their deepest yearnings, access innate wisdom, and turn dreams into realities. Coaching is geared toward those with a passion for social change.
